Open Streets 2015!

Open Streets – Call for Volunteers!

Hello Transit Riders and Supporters!

We have arranged to have a table at Open Streets on James Street North this Sunday, June 28th from 11am to 6pm. We will be collecting survey responses, handing out information and engaging with the community to let people know what we’re all about.

Open Streets is an annual event where a LONG stretch of James Street North (from York Boulevard to Strachan) is closed to car traffic. People can freely walk, ride or roll down the street and participate in different activities that are really only possible this one day a year. It’s a nice, relaxing afternoon.

How you can help:

1. Volunteer! We need proud transit riders and supporters such as yourself to be at the booth during the event to help administer surveys, hand out info, etc. Whether you can come for the whole day or just for a while, we’d love to see you there.

2. Bring friends!  Whether they would like to volunteer, fill out the survey or just find out more, bring your friends and family along!

3. Spread the word! Open Streets is a fantastic event and we’re proud to be a part of it. Let everyone know what it’s all about.

We hope to see you Sunday!
